God’s Word speaks the eternal truth. We won’t find truth apart from His Word!

Here is a lesson learned….. The day that I discovered I had prostate cancer, I thought my life was over.  No more living in this human form. No more everyday joys to experience. Death then heaven was my entire world. That was seven years ago.

Here is a cancer story….What Steve Jobs tried and failed to do with Buddhism, i.e., to reach eternal peace in his cancer state, I have had eternal peace all along my cancer journey by believing in the healing power of the Word of God.  Steve Jobs also had the same opportunity to believe “What the Bible says.”  Rich or super rich, he chose not to do so. This choice left him without eternal peace.

Here is a cancer story…….I now have my PSA tested twice a year. On Monday (1/22/18) I went to the lab to have my blood drawn. In the past I would call my doctor’s office the very next day and get one of the secretaries to give me the results prior to meeting with my doctor. If the number has gone up, I would tell them don’t say it, but leave it to the doc to tell me. I just wanted to know if it stayed level or showed downward movement. I didn’t do that this time.  Instead I chose to wait it out. To live with days of anxiety, because sometimes in between good PSA testing, I tend to forget that I was diagnosed with cancer.  Tomorrow, Friday (1/25/18) I meet with my doctor and I have been sitting on “pins and needles” all week waiting to find out the results. It is in this waiting, where I live as a cancer survivor.
